Jakub Čížek

Čížek is one of my favourite young corners in Europe, he brings physicality and toughness to the position while maintaining the vision and reactions that, in my opinion, have him as one of the elite corners from Europe in the last few years. He is a natural zone coverage specialist; his awareness of space and football IQ allows him to cover excellently from a Cover 2 to a Cover 6 scheme. This IQ is on show predominantly when covering short, he keeps his head on a swivel between the QB and possible threats entering into his assignment. The trigger breaking into the route of the WR as well as downfield into his run responsibility further adds to his value as a Corner and potential Safety who could be a day 1 starter - MB
